Meet Chris!

Chris is very friendly and loves people!  She has worked in the restaurant business for over 20 years.  She's won awards in both Theraputic Horseback Riding and Special Olympics bowling.  Chris loves to travel and takes lots of day trips with USG's Circle of Friends program.  She's involved in her church with Sunday School, special activities and volunteering at church dinners.  Chris also supports Schreiber Pediatrics fundraisers at Lapp's Restaurant where she works. Her hobbies include puzzle books and fishing. 

She's one busy lady!!

Founded in 1962 by a group of parents seeking services for their children with disabilities, The Arc of Lancaster County supports individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and their families. Special Events for October: (click on highlighted event for additional information)

 

Sunday, October 11 at 4pm: Benefit Piano Concert performed by Anne Leisawitz at Church of The Apostles on Marietta Avenue, Lancaster.  There is no admission cost, but a free will offering will be taken to benefit The Arc.

 

Wednesday, October 21 from 5-9pm: Arc Night at Friendly's - Take a night off from cooking and enjoy a meal at Friendly's at the Centerville Shopping Center off Rout 30.  Friendly's will donate 10% of their evening's total income to The Arc.  No forms necessary.

 

Sunday, October 25: First of two Benninghoff Marathons.  Show your support for Lynn and Keith Benninghoff by making a donation to The Arc.  For more information, call The Arc office at 394-5251 or click HERE to donate now.
