Mission Statement

The Arc of Lancaster County was formed in 1962 by a group of parents who wanted to change how society accepted their family members with intellectual disabilities.   We continue their work by striving every day to achieve our mission:
 

 

"The Arc of Lancaster County advocates for people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in reaching their fullest potential as interdependent community members."


 

The Arc of Lancaster provides the following free supports and services:

• Independent Monitoring for Quality
• Information and Referral
